What is Singapore Vaccinated Framework?

Previously, Singapore has launched a program called Singapore Vaccinated Lane where short-term visitors can enter the country if they’re fully vaccinated. However, there were only several countries allowed and they should take a designated VTL flights to Singapore. Since 1 April 2022, the government of Singapore announced that entry permit to visitors will be eased and simplified through Vaccinated Travel Framework
All fully vaccinated sort-term visitors will be granted an entry to Singapore though this program. What’s even good news is that upon arrival, you won’t have to take another COVID-19 test or go through quarantine. However, there are still some requirements apply for those of you who plan to visit Singapore.

Updated Entry Requirements to Singapore

To enter Singapore with Vaccinated Travel Framework, all short-term travelers must be fully vaccinated with two doses or booster with vaccines on the World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Use List. The proof of vaccine will be checked during check-in and arrival so that it can be registered with the Singapore government and can be used as a permit to enter cafes, restaurants, malls, and tourist attractions.
Following are the requirements to enter Singapore:
- Hold an accepted proof of vaccination of 2 doses or booster dose. Indonesian travelers can present their proof through PeduliLindungi. You can also register your vaccination certificates to get recognition from the Singapore government here.
- Travelers should submit an SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with their pre-trip health and travel history declaration, 3 days before arriving in Singapore.
- Download the TraceTogether app and register the profile for contact tracing.
- Travelers can use all flights to Singapore with any airline.
- Children under the age of 12 will be exempt from the vaccination requirement.
- Travelers who have been vaccinated with a single dose or have not been vaccinated are required to have travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 against medical costs related to COVID-19 and show a negative result of RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test 2×24 hours before departure to be checked upon check-in.
- Fully vaccinated travelers (dose 2 or booster) who wish to enter Indonesia from Singapore, will be exempted from a quarantine and COVID-19 test before departure or upon arrival in Indonesia.
- Travelers who only have their 1st dose of vaccine or haven’t been vaccinated, should undergo a quarantine for 5×24 hours in Indonesia and present a negative result of RT-PCR test before departure to Indonesia.
