Travel means freedom for me because I love waking up in an unfamiliar place, anytime I want, with no alarm! It’s the feeling of losing all sense of direction with no one I am familiar with, but still manage to survive.
Travel means freedom because I can interact with lots of people from different backgrounds, free from judgment. It’s amazing how we try our best to understand each other using our second language, or even using body language sometimes!
Travel means freedom because I can do whatever I want, even in the middle of an urgent situation. One time when I visited Gili Trawangan with my besties, we were stuck in the middle of the ocean because our boat ran out of fuel. Instead of directly finding the solution, we enjoyed our time together by looking at the sky full of stars! It was a beautiful moment to remember.
