Activities You Can & Can’t Do During PPKM
One of the stark influences COVID-19 has brought upon us is the fact that the virus definitely impels us to be responsible both for our own safety and for our surroundings. Don’t you feel the same, t-mates?
So, in order to survive this pandemic, we shall be well informed about the issues at any given time. Let’s take a look at these important most asked queries for better knowledge about the implementation of the PPKM!
1. Are We Allowed to do Any Outdoor Activities?

It has become common sense that we are urged to stay at home during the pandemic, moreover throughout the entire time of the PPKM period. However, the government permits us to traverse from home for several purposes like grocery shopping and exercising. Well, of course, there will be plenty of health protocols we shall adhere to.
You are allowed to do some exercise like jogging or simply doing a leisure walk around the area of your house. When you are exercising outside, it is advised for you to take along your own necessities such as tumblers, snacks, towels, and etc.
Meanwhile, if you need to go outside for grocery shopping, please make sure to choose a place that is likely to be crowded. Please always remember to practice physical distancing with any other residents of the mart, alright, t-mates?
2. Can We Visit any House of Prayer?
In the current regulations, all religious community activities are allowed with limited capacity. But then again, God always graces us with the privilege of doing our prayers at home. So, why don’t we use the occasion to knit a tighter bond with God, t-mates?
3. Is it Possible to be Treated at a Hospital?

If you are in a condition that needs to be keenly assisted by the professionals themselves then the wisest choice is for you to visit the hospital as soon as possible. Wear your double masks during your visit to the hospital and try your best to always be at a safer distance to the others.
Since it is not uncommon for hospitals to enforce brand new protocols in regard to curbing the virus then you shall always adhere to the health protocols of the hospital you are visiting. Keep in mind that you are also taking care of others by looking after yourself.
As for the COVID-19 cases, the PPKM regulates hospitals to only admit patients with severe symptoms as well as those who are currently in critical conditions.
4. How about the Malls and Shopping Centres?
Activities at shopping centers/malls, the traditional marts, convenience stores and grocery shops which are selling daily needs, are permitted to carry on the transactions with limited operational hours. This step is taken to suppress the possibility of overcrowding around in one cramped area.
5. Can We at Least Order Meals Outside?

In the current regulations, dine-in at restaurants, cafes, inside buildings/shops or open areas are allowed. Choose the time wisely when you get to dine-in at the restaurant.
And, you can still order food through delivery services. Let’s stray away from the crowd as much as we can, t-mates! Be sure to also check the hygiene of the restaurants ahead of the time you place your order. Once again, double the masks and practice physical distancing decently!
6. No More WFO and Even A Visit to the Office?
Some of the employees working in non-essential sectors must work from home agenda throughout the PPKM period. On the other hand, essential sectors companies can operate with limited capacity.
The essential sectors of business include financial sectors, banking sectors, capital market as well transaction fields, technology information and communication sectors, COVID-19 non-quarantine cares hotels, and export-oriented industries.
7. How about Holding a Wedding Reception or Simply Attending One?
The Minister of Internal Affairs has revised the article related to holding or attending wedding receptions. If previously it was not allowed to have guests, then according to the revision contained in the Instruction of the Minister of Internal Affairs Number 63 of 2021, during the PPKM period, the wedding reception can be held with limited capacity.
