During the time for breaking the fast or well known as iftar, Dubai has a very prominent tradition that sure won’t be found in no other country! Don’t be shocked t-mates, cannons used here are all for a lovely tradition. 

Dubai Police are responsible for making Iftar Cannon happen, they fire the cannon before Magrib prayers to signal the end of the daily fast or time for iftar. Locals and tourists usually come to the destined place of the event and watch as the cannon blasts off, it is truly one iconic tradition to break the fast with!

Located in one big hall filled with over 400 tenants, you are not going to regret spending your time here! Not only shop, but you also get to do hennas, play bull riding, and all other interactive workshops, last but not least try all the local delicacies for iftar!

During the holy month, Dubai is opening its malls up until late at night, 1 AM on weekdays and 2 AM on weekends– though you can always make sure the hours in malls you’re coming to by calling or checking their official websites.
