So, ready to do a little flashback on the fun events in 2021? Let’s recreate the excitement and anticipation we felt when we’re waiting for these events! Ready? Let’s gooo~
1. Nelusur, Unraveling the Myths
Okay, so the first event in 2021 that t-mates most loved is Nelusur! This horror documentary consisted of 8 episodes that spread out from June to October 2021.
In this show, Sara Wijayanto and her husband, Demian Aditya, as well as Wisnu Hardana and Fadi Iskandar explored the haunted places in Indonesia. Sure, the interaction between humans and invisible creatures may sound scary, but their fun journey has entertained many!
2. GhostBusTour Jurnal Risa Abandoned Hospital Season 2
For those who are fans of spiritual and horror content, the name Risa Saraswati must be familiar. Risa is a famous horror Youtuber with millions of subscribers, so you just know that any horror show she hosts will be a great one.
After its first season in 2020, GhostBusTour Jurnal Risa is back for a second season. This time she visited abandoned former hospital buildings in various cities. Of course, she wasn’t alone. She was accompanied by Jenda Munthe, Incess Nabati, and many more!
3. Kakak Beradik “JOURNEY”, Uncover the Myths Behind the Historical Places
On number 3 we have Kakak Beradik “Journey”, a series of explorations between Ruben Onsu, Jordi Onsu, and the team. This 10-day long journey will take you on their experience visiting numerous historical places with an alluring panorama in Jakarta. There are plenty of memorable moments during this journey. But you already know that, right?
4. GhostBusTour Jurnal Risa #3 Peter Cs Goes to Turkey, Explore the Mysterious Places
Back again with GhostBusTour Jurnal Risa, on season 3 we are taken by the Jurnal Risa team to Turkey! Unlike the other seasons that focus more on Indonesia, this time Jurnal Risa explored the mysterious places and mythical stories in Turkey.
5. Kakak Beradik Podcast “Untold Story Jilid II” Dive into Horror Stories
After Kakak Beradik “Journey”, Ruben and Jordi are back again with Kakak Beradik Podcast “Untold Story Jilid II”, the sequel of the first episode that premiered back in 2020.
This live streaming podcast is even more exciting with the presence of the co-hosts like Kenta Yamaguchi, Dahlan Holao, Kang Nanda, Kang Didit, Betrand Peto, and even Frislly Herlind that has the ability to see the invisible.
What makes this podcast even special is that it broke the record for the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) for two categories. Wow! How cool is that?
6. Kakak Beradik Podcast “Untold Story Jilid III”, Reveal Mystical Stories
Upon successing in the previous season, the Onsu brothers come back with the final season of the podcast series. On Kakak Beradik Podcast “Untold Stor Jilid III”, Ruben and Jordi explore Makam Keramat (the Sacred Cemetery) which is known to often takes lives!
There are plenty of creepy true stories that happened here. So, with the help of some amazing guests, Abu Ramzi, and Lucinta Luna, the Bensu brothers and team looked into it one by one!
7. World Superbike 2021 Indonesian Rounds
In 2021, Indonesia finally inaugurated the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit for the World Superbike 2021!
Even though the track was wet due to rain, Mandalika Circuit was still praised by the second winner, Jonathan Rea, as one of the best tracks he had ridden on! The world championship was filled with so much anticipation and excitement, that’s what a sports event is all about, right?
8. Penelusurans di Malang, Discover the Creepy Truth Behind the Mystical Aura in Malang
Back in June 2021, tiket.com had a collaboration with RANS Entertainment to make a horror show called Penelusurans di Malang. In this series, they will invite you to discover the creepy truth behind the mystical aura in Songgoriti, Malang.
To make the show more exciting, RANS brings out some of their friends. From Jurnal Risa, Fadil Jaidi, Keanu Agl, Darius, Hamka Hamzah, Gilang, and Shandy were all there to help!
9. Komax (Komedi Maximal), Successfully Shake Your Stomach with Laughter
We’ve talked about horror shows and we’ve talked about a world championship, now let’s get on the comedy one. Komax (Komedi Maximal), held in April 2021, has accompanied t-mates with so much fun and laughter.
Presented by Inspire Production, this comedy sketch present the life o three unique high school students, starred by Fadil Jaidi, Keanu Angelo, and Dara Arafah, with their problems. In each episode, there was a special guest present to help spice up the show.
10. Berani Uji Nyali? with Co Host Jurnal Risa. Challenge Your Adrenaline!
The last one on the list of fun events in 2021, we have Berani Uji Nyali with Jurnal Risa. Started with horror and ended in horror. Okay, t-mates, we get it, you all like something scary and challenging!
Now, in this show, Jurnal Risa and the team will test the audience’s courage by visiting some haunted places. As always, Risa was not alone as she co-hosted this show with Irfan Hakim. What an unforgettable experience!
