7. Mystical Trip to Trunyan Village

Trunyan Village is a really unique village. Locals there call themselves “Bali Aga” or Original Balinese.

In this secluded village, the locals practice a funeral ceremony by leaving the dead to decompose under the taru menyan tree. Then, the skulls are collected and put together in a special place. As you walk there, you can see the collection of skulls and bones in bamboo cages.
