The Journey to The Sidemen Villa

The Sidemen Villa is situated around 2 hours away from Ngurah Rai Airport. Since it’s gonna be a long journey, we suggest you rent a car for your trip.

We know that spending two hours in a car can be exhausting. But, your long journey will pay off! Along the way, you will pass by the winding road, up and down the hill. Our suggestion for you is not to go there at night, because the road can be quite challenging when it’s dark.

Use your Google Maps or Waze to find the way to The Sidemen Villa. Once you reach this point, you will see a grey-colored gate surrounded by plants. You won’t see any signpost in front of the villa. So, make sure to drive slowly so you won’t pass by the villa.

The Sidemen Villa is a 2 bedroom villa, perfect for four people. With a soft bed, you are promised a good sleep while you’re there. The rooms are spacious and clean with an elegant impression, dominated by modern wood patterned vibes.

Open the curtains and look outside. You’ll immediately see the view of the mountains, swimming pool, and green trees.

The first bedroom has a bathtub and a shower, while in the second bedroom, you can enjoy a shower with an open roof, surrounded by plants. Both rooms are equipped with liquid soaps, shampoos, a hairdryer, towels, and also 2 bottles of mineral water.

The art of doing nothing is the key to happiness. Yes, doing nothing or doing something with a little effort can be sooo relaxing.

For instance, in the afternoon, you can just sit back and relax on the soft sofa while watching Netflix or listening to music via YouTube. Don’t worry, the Wi-Fi connection is reliable.

How about having a good talk while playing cards and drinking Balinese rice wine specially made in Karangasem? Sounds good, right? What about having a BBQ time? The BBQ tools are provided in the villa.

• Before staying at The Sidemen Villa, buy some food or drinks in the city because it will be difficult to find a restaurant/minimarket near the villa. If you want to cook, you can buy the necessary ingredients beforehand.
• The villa is only for guests aged 17 years and over. The villa is sitting on a hill, jutting out to the cliff
• Prepare your stamina because there are many activities you can do around The Sidemen Villa such as cycling, trekking, exploring Gembleng Waterfall, and others. You won’t get bored during your stay!

Try the Famous Minced Fish Satay near the Villa

Although you may not find many restaurants near the villa, there is a famous one located only 15 minutes away from the villa. Lots of Indonesian government officials and celebrities had eaten there, including President Jokowi and former Indonesian president Megawati Soekarnoputri. The name of the restaurant is Warung Lesehan Merta Sari.

In this restaurant, you can try minced fish satay made with genep spices (Balinese spices). It’s so delicious!

Eat the satay together with chili onion, fish soup, vegetables, and peanuts. Then enjoy your meal by drinking sweet iced tea. Yummy!
