Having an upcoming domestic or international flight in the near future? Before you’re going to the airport, make sure to know the latest update from PT Angkasa Pura II about terminal operation changes at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) for all passengers.
In light of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, some restrictions on the operation of Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK) will be carried out.
This regulation will take effect on Wednesday, 1st of April 2020, which refers to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/104/2020.
Please refer to the information below and check your flight schedule before departure as the airline might change its terminal operations.
Temporary Terminal Change of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)
The following regulation is valid from 1 April 2020 for both domestic and international flights of selected airlines depart from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, with certain flight periods.
In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus and passenger flow control from domestic and international routes, all passengers are expected to understand and follow this policy.
1. International Flights
Flight period: 1 April 2020 – 29 May 2020
Airlines: AirAsia, Scoot, Jetstar, Cebu Pacific, Citilink, Malindo Air, Thai Lion, and Batik Air.
International flights from Jakarta to all routes with the airlines above will be moved temporarily from Terminal 2F to Terminal 3 Ultimate Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK).
2. Domestic Flights
Flight period: 1 April 2020 – 29 Mei 2020
Airlines: Lion Air & Trigana Air
Domestic flights from Jakarta to all routes will be centered to Terminal 1A Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK).
During this terminal change period, service at Terminal 1 will only be available in Sub Terminal 1A and Sub Terminal 1B will be temporarily closed.
Meanwhile, for Terminal 2, service will only be available at 2D and 2E Sub Terminals. However, Angkasa Pura II will still provide shuttle buses and information officers serving at Terminal 2F.
The restrictions on the terminal operation and movement of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will only be applied temporarily until the pandemic situation is declared safe.
