1. Padang Satay (Sate Padang)

4. Spicy Sour Fish (Ikan Asam Padeh)

Padangnese food isn’t only about beef, because there’s also a special food derived from processed fish, called Ikan Asam Padeh. As the name implies, this type of food has a sour and spicy taste that comes from Kandis acid and chili. As for fish, this menu usually uses mackerel tuna.

This menu is perfect to be served with warm white rice during cold days. The spiciness and soup will warm you up!

5. Soto Padang

Looking for an authentic Padang cuisine for breakfast or light lunch? You can try Soto Padang if you haven’t. You’ll get dry beef, lungs, cakes, and vermicelli as toppings in a bowl. Usually, they also serve additional toppings such as crackers, lime, tomatoes, and celery.

6. Padang Rice (Nasi Padang)
