Check Out this 4 Days 3 Nights Itinerary for Your Mandalika Trip!
Creating an itinerary for your upcoming trip is important so that you can explore many places in such limited times. Here, tiket.com has prepared 4 days 3 nights itinerary that you can take as your ultimate guide to visit Mandalika. Check it out, t-mates!
Day 1 – Have Fun at Kuta Beach and Enjoy Local Cuisine

Let’s begin your Mandalika trip from Lombok International Airport! From the airport, you only need to continue your journey by car for around 30 minutes and you’ll arrive at your destination. Welcome to Mandalika, t-mates!
On your first day in Mandalika, the best thing to do is definitely having fun at Kuta Beach, the most popular beach in the area. However, first of all, don’t forget to fill your tummy so that you have enough energy. There are numerous restaurants and food stalls in the beach area, so you no need to worry.

At Kuta Beach, you can choose to do different kinds of activities like surfing, snorkeling, or just lying down on the white sand. For those of you who want to boost adrenaline, there are also various types of water sports you can try. Banana boat, jet ski, parasailing –– which one interests you the most, t-mates?
After spending the whole afternoon with outdoor activities, you must feel tired and hungry again. For your dinner, why don’t you try the delicious Taliwang chicken? It’s a traditional spicy grilled chicken from Lombok. Take a bite and you will be craving for more!
Day 2 – Time to Explore Merese Hill, Tanjung Aan Beach, Kotak Cave

Start your second day in Mandalika by catching the best view of sunrise only at Merese Hill. From the center of Mandalika or Kuta area, it is around 20 minutes away by car. This hill is not that high, you only need to do a little hiking, and voila! Your eyes will be spoiled by the 360-degree view of the surrounding scenery.
When you’re there, you can spend some time relaxing, enjoying the panorama of Tanjung Aan Beach below, and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. A gentle reminder: make sure you have enough storage in your camera or phone, t-mates!

Next, let’s go to Tanjung Aan Beach, which is known for its picturesque scenery and white sand. Take your shoes off and let your feet step on the sand, so you’ll know how soft it is!
Other than that, this beach is also famous among surfers because of its smooth waves. Along the beach, there are several surf shops and schools, where you can rent a surfboard or sign up for a surf lesson. Are you ready to be the king or queen of the waves?

From Tanjung Aan Beach, drive your car for another 20 minutes to the next wholesome destination — Kotak Cave. In English, kotak means square. Just like its name suggests, this cave has a square-shaped tunnel without any stalactite or stalagmite on its wall, which makes it different from any other cave.
Keep walking along the tunnel and at the end of the cave, you’ll be greeted by the view of the vast ocean and green lush islands afar. So beautiful!
Day 3 – Discover the Beauty of Sade Village, Bangkang Prabu Cave, Mawun Beach

During your time in Mandalika, don’t miss the chance to learn more about the culture of the Sasak Tribe, the native people of Lombok. So, let’s begin the third day by visiting Sade Village. To reach this village, the journey from the Kuta area is around 15-20 minutes by car.
In this village, you can walk around observing the daily life of Sasak people as well as seeing their unique traditional houses made of dry sedge grass, bamboo weaves, and soil. Usually, there is a local guide that will accompany you while also explaining the history and culture of the Sasak Tribe.

Before you leave this village, you can buy some souvenirs that are sold by local people. There are many kinds of handicrafts that you can choose either for your own collection or to be given to your loved ones. They must be happy!
From Sade Village, continue your journey for around 30 minutes to Bangkang Prabu Cave, another must go-to destination in Mandalika. It is a bat cave where you can encounter the majestic light rays inside. The best time to capture this light is between 12 PM – 1 PM when the sun shines so brightly. So magical!

Next, let’s go to another beach, shall we? 5 kilometers away from Bangkang Prabu Cave, you can find the beautiful Mawun Beach. This beach offers you a stretch of soft white sand combined with pristine sea waters, and also surrounded by two lush hills on each side.

The atmosphere on this beach is very peaceful as usually there are not so many people coming here. Therefore, it is the right place for you to relax and recharge your mind. If you are yearning for better scenery, you are also welcome to climb up the hill. Such a perfect way to end the day!
Day 4 – Time to Say See You Later, Mandalika!
After spending 3 days exploring so many places in Mandalika, unfortunately, this wonderful trip has come to an end. Before going back home, you can make a quick visit to a souvenir shop to buy something that will remind you of this place.
See you later, Mandalika!
