Since this itinerary will take you to three big cities at once, it would be best if t-mates knew what to do to make a trip to Europe even more memorable.

Journey to Prague

Can’t wait to travel around Europe? Be patient! T-mates must depart from Soekarno Hatta Airport on a night flight on the first day to arrive in Prague, Czech Republic. Flights will generally transit and change planes in Doha, Qatar, before continuing to Milan, Italy. So, make sure your t-mates have all you need before traveling a nearly 16-hour, 45-minute journey, okay?

DAY I (Prague)

Due to the night flight from Jakarta to Prague, t-mates are expected to arrive in Prague the following morning. Once arrived, while waiting to check into the hotel, t-mates can also take a leisurely tour to Strahov Monastery or the remarkable Old Town of Stare Mesto. Both buildings reflect the luxury of living in the past, which is still well-preserved today.

Here is a sample itinerary for t-mates to consider:

  • Check-in at a hotel of your choice
  • Continue to have lunch near Stare Mesto
  • Walk to the Strahov Monastery
  • Visit Charles Bridge and John Lennon Wall
  • Stroll around the Old Royale Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, and Lobkowicz Palace
  • End the day by heading back to the hotel and start to have a dinner

Aside from the previously mentioned locations, t-mates who prefer to shoot images for Instagram-worthy should take a trip across the pedestrian-friendly Charles Bridge to enter the realm of medieval Prague. Tired of bridges? Then switch to the famous wall, notably the John Lennon Wall, which is a pity to miss!

DAY II (Prague)

A new adventure can begin by exploring every nook and cranny of the city upon entering the second day. Let’s take a look at the overview of t-mates second day in Prague:

  • Start your day by having a breakfast
  • From your location, you can travel to Lesser Town
  • Afterward, drive to Prague Castle
  • Enjoy the magnificent view of the Powder Tower and St. George’s Basilica
  • Take your time to visit the Spanish Synagogue and the Jewish Museum
  • End your day with dinner at Staromestske Restaurace
  • Returning to the hotel to relax

After a day of touring historical and culturally significant sites, It is time for t-mates to eat at Staromestske Restaurace to calm down. There are numerous food vendors of various ethnicities here. Enjoy the unique sparkle of the night light and get ready to move to Berlin the next day!

DAY III (Prague – Dresden – Berlin)

After spending two days in Prague, half of the third day will be devoted to travel to Berlin, with a brief stop in Dresden. T-mates can visit Wenceslas Square. It’s the city’s central commercial district and a popular location for large public gatherings and demonstrations so as not to miss out on learning about the daily lives of Prague’s inhabitants.

On your journey to the pier, you will still have the chance to visit some of the most gorgeous small lanes in historic Old Town. Your voyage on the Vltava River may begin as you climb aboard a 19th-century, all-wooden vessel. Don’t forget to have your camera ready to take pictures of some of Prague’s legendary monuments from a new vantage point, t-mates~

  • Take a visit to Dresden Frauenkirche Church
  • Head to Semperoper Opera House
  • Move to the famous Brandenburg Gates
  • Stroll around the Museum Island

According to the itinerary, t-mates still have the opportunity to explore one place before driving to Berlin. This journey can at least reach multiple other destinations. One of the most stunning opera buildings is the Semperoper Opera House. You can experience world-class opera, ballet, and concert events in this gorgeous architectural structure.

It is not complete with visiting Berlin without photographing the Brandenburg Gates. Consider how magnificent and sturdy the pillars are that have stood for ages.

Don’t forget that t-mates can also choose to visit Museum Island. At least five museums are available for selection, including the Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode Museum, and Pergamon Museum. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is called Museum Island, as there are five possible destinations on a single island.

Day V (Berlin)

Towards the fifth day, when already in Berlin, t-mates can see a sample itinerary that has been prepared just for you:

  • Breakfast at the hotel where you stay
  • Getting set to head to the Reichstag Building
  • Go to Pergamonmuseum
  • End your day having fun at Potsdamer Platz
  • Back to the hotel to rest
  • Get ready to board the train to Amsterdam

Keep in mind that the Reichstag Building is a German parliament building. Therefore don’t be shocked if there is always an extensive line waiting for the elevator, especially on bright days. Thus, plan to spend much extra time at this location. Once atop the structure, visitors can enjoy 360-degree views and listen to a complimentary audio guide about the design and nearby local landmarks.

Day VI (Amsterdam)

Arrived in a country well-known for its tulips. As a result, you should not be shocked if you encounter additional breathtaking sights in Amsterdam. The following are itinerary suggestions for a trip to Amsterdam:

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • From the hotel, you can visit Zaanse Schans
  • Grab your lunch at The Pancake Bakery
  • After that, walk through Volendam
  • Proceed to the Van Gogh Museum
  • Close your day by going to Rembrandtplein

DAY VII (Amsterdam – Jakarta)
