1. Cheng Ho Mosque
This first hidden spot in Riau is the 17th building in Indonesia. This mosque that combines Chinese culture was built on 2 hectares of land and has a 17-story tower as high as 50 meters.
Not only as a worship place for Muslims, Cheng Ho Mosque also became a center for Al-Qur’an studies, a converts center, and also a place for religious tourism. It is open for public to visit, but you have to follow the regulations such as to dress modestly and to keep your voice low during worship time.

2. Siak Palace
Siak Palace is one of the historical relics of Riau Province in the past. Although currently Riau no longer adheres to the royal system, you can see the history of its development through the Siak Palace, which was founded in 1889.
You can see the palace building which consists of 2 floors in a modern style, surrounded by green gardens. On the 1st floor, you will find various kinds of relics of the sultan’s family, such as ancient drums, a statue of Sultan Syarif Hasyim, or a bronze statue of Queen Wilhelmina.
While on the 2nd floor, you will find weapons collections belonging to the Sultan at that time. This floor also used to be the room of the Sultan and his guests. Historical tourism at the Siak Palace is perfect as a family-friendly destination.

How to get there: From the port or airport, you can continue by using local transportation. The distance is approximately 1.2 km or a 3-minute drive from Singkep Port.
4. Aek Martua Waterfall

How to get there: You can use local transportation (L3000) or Superban Pekanbaru-Pengaraian. Get off in Simpang Tangun and continue your ride by omprengan. 5. Ulu Kasok
