4. Hagia Sophia

Another beautiful mosque you should visit in Turkey is Hagia Sophia. It is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world because it uses a quintessential Byzantine architectural style. At first, Hagia Sophia was an Orthodox Christian cathedral between 532 and 537 AD. But, after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople, the church was converted into a mosque.

5. Pamukkale

Pamukkale is a photogenic spot in Turkey that looks like a cotton castle. There are many small pools filled with warm aquamarine water where you can dip in. The water is rich in minerals — many people believe the minerals can cure diseases and illnesses.

If you see the pools, you’ll be amazed because it is stunning! You’re not allowed to wear shoes there. Walk slowly, because it is a bit slippery.
