1. Dusun Semilir

The concept and design of this tourist attraction are so fresh and charming. In the main building, you can see 7 stupas that resemble the stupas in Borobudur temple. Around the area, you can see colorful homes that look like European buildings! Every corner in Dusun Semilir is so Instagrammable!
Inside the stupa, on the first floor, there is a souvenir shop that sells crafts and snacks, while on the second floor, there is a fine dining restaurant. You can just relax at the restaurant while enjoying the scenic view of Dusun Semilir.

2. Saloka Theme Park
This is one of the famous theme parks in Semarang. The theme park features a lot of fun rides that suit children, teenagers, and even adults! Some of the rides that you can try are The Cakrawala Ride, which is a 33-meter large Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, a boom boom car. You can go rafting as well! 🙂

Just do short trekking and you’ll be able to see the wonderful waterfall in the middle of a forest. Semirang waterfall has a height of 45 meters. Sit on the stones and get wet! It will be an unforgettable experience!
From Semarang, it might take about 30 minutes to reach the village. Then, you must walk for about 15 minutes to reach the waterfall.

5. Watu Gunung Ungaran

If you love history, you should visit Gedong Songo Tempel, a tourist attraction located on the slope of Ungaran Mountain. Visitors can learn the history of the temple as well as enjoying the panoramic view of Ungaran mountain.
Gedong Songo is a Hindu temple. The site was built during the early period of the Medang Kingdom, which was during the 8th and 9th centuries. As you can see in the picture, the architectural structure of the temple is similar to the one in Dieng Plateau.
