10 Days Itinerary in Eastern Europe: Vienna, Prague, Budapest and All Things Nice

Day 1

Jakarta – Dubai

Rise and shine! Today is a good day! This is the day when you will start your journey to the Eastern Europe! Gather at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and take a flight to Munich.

Day 2

Dubai – Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, you can go to BMW Welt. This is a worth visiting place as you can see many different models of BMW, sit down behind the wheels. Then, go to the Olympic Stadium for sightseeing. Take beautiful photographs with the background of the Allianz Arena! After that, go to the hotel to take a rest.

Day 3

Munich – Inssbruck

The journey starts by visiting Inssbruck, the capital of Tyrol, and the fifth-largest city in Austria. Inssbruck is in the broad valley between high mountains. It has a wide variety of tourist spots such as the Old Town, the Palace of King Maxmillian and the Ambras Castle.

Explore the Alpine heaven for a day. In the old town, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants where you can take a break. Stay tonight in a hotel in Inssbruck.

Day 4

Innsbruck – Hallstatt – Salzburg

Today, you’ll enjoy the natural beauty of Austria by visiting a small enchanting village called Hallstatt. It is the place where you can find beautiful churches nearby lakes and see multi-colored buildings! It’s truly an Instagrammable destination!

Continue your journey by visiting Salzburg, where the famous Austrian composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart spent his childhood. In Salzburg, you must also visit the Mirabell Gardens, which is the place where The Sounds of Music was filmed. There are many souvenirs with the theme of Mozart. Day 5

Salzburg – Cesky Krumlov – Vienna

From Salzburg, head to Cesky Krumlov, a beautiful town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with hundreds of years old of architecture. Despite its small size, the city is worth visiting because it is very photogenic! After you’re done exploring this picturesque town, it’s time to go to Vienna. Enjoy the day because the journey may make you feel a bit tired. But, it is definitely going to be worth it!

Day 6 

Vienna – Parndorf Outlet – Budapest

Do you know that Vienna is the most liveable city in the world? It is an amazing experience to explore Vienna when you’re going to East Europe. Today, start your day by doing the Vienna city tour. Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the Hofburg, Belvedere Palace and St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

Try to take the Vienna Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, a flexible way for you to see Austria’s capital. The bus is convenient because it is equipped with Wi-Fi and many stops at various tourist attractions.

Day 7 

Budapest

Go for a city tour to see Parliament House, Royal Palace, St. Stephan Cathedral, Heroes’ Square and Jewish Synagogue in Budapest, Hungary. Then head to the Fisherman’s Bastion tower, one of the best-known monuments in Budapest. Continue to Citadel Hill to see the panoramic beauty of this city divided by the Danube River. Back to the hotel.

Day 8 

Budapest – Bratislava – Prague

Today’s trip goes to the city of Bratislava, the Slovak capital to take pictures at Bratislava Castle and enjoy the atmosphere of the city center in Old Town Square. Continue to Prague for your night stay. Take time to have a good rest before you continue with your journey tomorrow.

Day 9 

Prague – Dubai

After breakfast, you will be invited to a city tour by visiting Hradčany the Castle District, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Town Square, which is full of souvenir shops and chic cafes. This is a great time to buy cheap souvenirs for your loved ones before you go back to your hometown. In the old town, there is a famous Astronomical Clock where you can take pictures. 

Your journey in East Europe is almost over! Now it’s time to go to the airport for your flight back to Jakarta.

Dubai – Jakarta
