1. Have a Private Vacay Trip in Bair Island
The first destination on the list is the exotic Bair Island! The island’s contour is pretty unique, as it’s the meeting point of two bays with water as blue as the sky above. Not only that, but the island is also surrounded by cliffs of rocks and mangrove vegetation.
Your first instinct upon arriving at the island is probably to jump right into the glistening water and explore the marine life under it. But, if you’re not in the mood, you can also rent a boat that will take you around the island.
One of the main attractions in the island is Lorong Mati or the Death Alley. Wait, don’t get creeped out by the name, t-mates! It’s actually a really stunning site where two rock cliffs meet and create a narrow alley.
Then, after spending some time in the water, you can hike to the top of the cliff and see the aerial view of the whole island. Simply because it’s just too pretty to be missed out on!
2. Swim in the Water from Evu Springs in Hawang Cave
Next up, we got Hawang Cave, a mythical cave filled with glass-like water that comes from Evu Springs. The cave’s entrance is quite hidden and it can only be reached after trekking through a tiring steep trail. But trust us, once you set foot inside, it will all be worth it!
As we mentioned before, the water in this cave comes straight from Kei Islands’ biggest springs, Evu Springs. No wonder they have such crystal-clear water! It is so transparent, you can even look down to the cave floor!
Remember when we said that Hawang Cave is “mythical”? According to legends, the water in this cave has magical power. They said, whoever swims in this cave will be absinthe from aging and extremely lucky in finding love! Oh my, if that’s true, then count us in!
